Presented by:
Sarah Starr, M.Ed.
Live Session Held On: January 28th | 12:00-1:00pm CST
Administrative walkthroughs and informal classroom observations may look different from one school to another, and many school leaders want a process that feels consistent and beneficial. This one-hour webinar will give you a structure and strategies for walkthroughs that are meaningful, research-aligned, and provide actionable insights.
Sarah Starr is an experienced special educator and principal who uses a systematic approach when conducting a classroom walkthrough. She will show how these routines provide an objective experience, build stronger instructional cultures, support teacher growth, and ensure alignment between classroom practice, research-aligned instruction, and district goals.
A Systematic Approach to Classroom Walkthroughs
Sarah will break down the step-by-step approach she uses to conduct purposeful walkthroughs, highlighting how each part of the process is grounded in research and aligned to best practices. Attendees will learn how this approach provides a framework for informal classroom observations that are focused, objective, consistent and can be used for professional development and identifying patterns of instructional practice.
